Our Specialties

We Are Your Support

Our areas of special training and expertise include gender, sexuality, depression, anxiety, identity formation, relationship issues & stigmas.  Specifically, working with those belonging to stigmatized groups, sex workers, artists, survivors of trauma, abuse, sex trafficking & those in recovery from alcohol & drugs.

It’s no secret that the LGBTQ+ community has historically been treated poorly within the field of psychology.  Maybe you’ve even experienced that yourself, feeling the need to justify or minimize aspects of your identity to previous mental health providers, friends, or family.

Whether you are out and open about your sexual or gender identity, only out in some areas of your life, or still keeping it to yourself, you will be respected and affirmed in the therapy setting.

Many people struggle with depression or anxiety at some point in their life. It is one of the most common issues that come up in therapy, and can be so debilitating when left uncared for.

We like to take a practical approach to these areas, using evidence-based techniques and healthy coping skills to help my clients function at their best.

Relationships can be tricky, yet they are so important to life satisfaction. Some of the most common themes that come up in therapy are navigating family, romantic, friendships, and professional relationships.
